Alkali-Resistant Mica Glass Overview
Alkali Resistant Mica Glass is a high-performance transparent protection material used in reflex and transparent level gauge assemblies. It serves as a protective barrier between the process medium and the gauge glass, preventing alkaline attack, erosion, and surface deterioration caused by hot water, steam, and aggressive chemicals.
Manufactured from selected natural mica sheets, this material offers excellent transparency, outstanding heat resistance, and superior chemical stability. It is widely used in boiler water level indicators, steam drums, power generation systems, petrochemical plants, and industrial process equipment where long-term gauge glass protection is required.
By installing Alkali Resistant Mica Glass, operators can significantly reduce gauge glass replacement frequency, improve equipment reliability, and lower maintenance costs.
